Loving Your Healthy Natural Hair

My journey started just over 2 years ago. I made the decision not to allow another
person to burn, cut, fry or damage my hair any further. I took matters into my own
hands & in 2005 decided to go natural. I transitioned from permed to natural (with
regular trims) from June 2005 to December 2005.

When I first went natural, I went through many different emotions. Peoples negative
questions, negative comments, even from family & friends. I didn't’t let my fears or
other people's opinions stop me from continuing on my natural hair journey. Now, I
receive admiration & requests for hair tips & products.

2006~My first year natural was the hardest, mainly due the lack of length, dryness &
poor product choices. Thankfully, I prayed & asked the Lord for wisdom, as to how to
care for my natural hair. The Lord heard and He answered me, leading me to research
information that started me on my incredible hair journey. Hopefully our family's
website & our information, products, resources will help eliminate some of the trials I
went through. If you’re transitioning from permed to natural, from unhealthy to
